Whether you’ve been invited in by another colleague or you’re the first of your team to sign up, getting started with Welkio Access is easy.

Signing up a new company

If you’re the first of your colleagues to join Access, simply visit welkio.com and click Sign Up on the top right of the page.

You’ll then be prompted to create an account and fill in some personal information. Enter your First and Last name, work email and phone number, and create a password. Then click Next.

After you enter your personal account details, you’ll be asked for your Organization’s name and to create a dashboard URL. Our recommendation? Use a URL that is unique to your company -- your_company_name.welkio.com, for example.

Note: If you ever forget your URL, you can always go back and check the 'Welcome to Welkio' email received when creating your account. This email has a direct link to your dashboard.

Can’t find the email in your inbox? You can always send us a message, and we'll help you!

Signing up with an invite

If your company is already using Access, an Admin or Owner can invite you to join. Once invited, you’ll receive an email asking you to create a password.

Click Create Password, and then press Submit when done.

Note: your name, title, and contact information will have previously been filled out by the person who invited you, but this can be edited at any time.

Welkio Access Roles and Permissions

There are four roles available in Access, each with their own level of dashboard permissions and access to data:

  • Owner -- typically the first person to join, each organization can have only one Owner. The Owner can view and manage everything within the dashboard and is the only person with access to billing.

  • Admin -- Administrators are able to manage members, modify settings, and add devices to an account.

  • User -- Users have access to their own account information and can adjust settings and notifications whenever needed.

  • Receptionist — Receptionist has a 'view only' access to the visitor log, analytics, vault, reports and your team directory.
